Almost seven years after the publication of “Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória” (PASEO), a key reference for the national education system, UMa’s Education Research Centre (CIE-UMa) is bringing up for discussion the paradigm shift that the PASEO entails over Portugal’s 12 years of compulsory schooling.
The main lecturer will be Maria João Horta, member of the PASEO development team and Subdirector of the Directorate-General for Education. The moderator will be Jesus Maria Fernandes, Professor at the University of Madeira, Researcher at CIE-UMa, and Advisor to the National Education Council.
The event will be held at the Jesuits’ College Room 1 on May 13th at 10:00. Participation is open to the public but requires pre-registration by May 9th via the form available here.
