Through this thematic roundtable, UMa’s Education Research Centre (CIE-UMa) aims to debate the complex question: how to develop evaluation in early childhood education, as a component of pedagogical intervention? The Curricular Guidelines, the current discourse of educational policies and reports on assessment processes are called into question. By reflecting on the relevance of the design and practice of planning processes, pedagogical action and evaluation, CIE-UMa aims to contribute to the quality of Learning Contexts in Early Childhood Education.
The lecturers will be Maria João Cardona, Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém and researcher at CIE-UMa; Vanda Olibeira, member of the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology – Division for Pre-School and Elementary School Education (DEPEPCEB); and Guida Mendes, Professor at UMa’s Faculty of Social Sciences and researcher at CIE-UMa. The moderator will be Ana França Kot-Kotecki, CIE-UMa’s Coordinator.
The event will be held online via Zoom on July 18th at 14:30. Participation is open to the public but requires pre-registration by June 17th via the form available here.
