This conference will consist of two speeches followed by a debate session. The first speech will be the work of the Regional Secretary for Education, Dr. Jorge Carvalho, titled “Education in Madeira: Dispelling Misconceptions and Assessing with Rigour.” The second, “The State of Education and the Future,” will be given by the President of the National Education Council, Dr. Maria Emília Santos.
The event will take place on May 17th at 14:30 at the Jesuits’ College Auditorium. Participation is open to the public but requires pre-registration via the form available here.
