The Center for Research in Education of the University of Madeira (CIE‑UMa) is pleased to present its latest publication, the Proceedings of the XIX CIE‑UMa Colloquium, entitled “Formação de Professores: Contributos da Investigação”, organized by the researchers Professor Fernando Correia and Professor Elsa Fernandes.
This publication aims to reflect on teacher education, acknowledging that, in recent years, research in this field has contributed significantly to identifying the central questions that arise today, namely: which teachers we are training, which teachers we want to train, for which school, and what changes are considered necessary.
