To talk about culture is to talk about the history of humanity, it is to talk about the wealth of knowledge that has been built up to help us situate ourselves in today’s world, but it is also to talk about the knowledge that we are building today in the most diverse areas. In a world of increasing complexity, the arts have left the confines of museums and concert halls and have penetrated everyday culture, largely influencing the worldview of ordinary people.
CIE-UMa is hosting its XIV Colloquium in view of this topic, “Education, Arts, and Culture,” which is to be held on December 6th and 7th, 2018, at UMa’s Senate Room. Registrations and abstract submissions are available at https://xivcoloquiocieuma.wordpress.com/.
